Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the finance and accounting departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant include collecting payments, invoicing customers, drafting financial documents, and reconciling bank records. Collaborate with clients via phone and email as necessary
Reconcile financial books by working with incoming and outgoing funds
Collaborate with the Accounting team by creating and editing financial documents
Organize the bookkeeping processes of the company
Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
Track expenses and evaluate financial budgets
Assist with administrative duties as necessary Requirements - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as high attention to detail
Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
Bookkeeping experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting applications
2+ years of experience working in accounting
