Looking for a military history writer. A good opportunity for a history enthusiast, history major, etc.
This job requires good english & of course writing skill, some research and an interest in history.
WeaponsAndWarfare.com was founded by MSW who has been writing about military history since 2008. Weapons and Warfare has been referenced by West Point, Wikipedia, Army University Press (army.mil), Library of Congress (loc.gov), Encyclopedia Britannica and more.
Backstory:
The website was down for around 2 years before I picked it up. I relaunched the website February 1st, 2024 and traffic has been steadily increasing to what it was without writing any new content. As a high authority domain name, fresh content would really help the site bounce back, and even pass previous traffic highs.
Details:
- Write at minimum 5 history articles a week.
- Feel free to use AI as a tool, but articles will be checked to make sure they're not written by AI (Google doesn't like it).
- Articles will be checked for plagiarism.
- Good to have some social media experience.
Compensation:
- 10 to 25% revenue share (depending on qualifications & how many writers hired).
- $100 a week minimum.
- Payments made weekly.
- Currently the website is being monetized with AdSense, as traffic increases so does the CPMs. For example, the average CPM right now is $1.23. When a traffic spike came in, the CPM rate increased to an average of $8.15 (one day at $7.98 & the next at $8.32). Also, once the site grows to 30,000 more visitors a month, higher CPM ad networks can be used.
