We are a fulfillment center located in Carson looking for a dispatch manager to supervise and coordinate activities of transportation.
Responsibilities Include:
Enforce safety rules and regulations
Plan work assignments and equipment allocations in order to meet transportation, operations, or production goals
Confer with customers, supervisors, and contractors to exchange information and resolve problems
Plan and establish transportation routes
Review orders and production schedules
Monitor field work to ensure that it is being performed properly and that equipment is being used as they should be.
Compute and estimate hours for payroll, transportation, personnel, and storage requirements.
Must be familiar with the Long Beach/San Pedro ports
Desired skills and qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Computer skills
Prior experience in supervising
1st shift 8am-4:30pmpm Monday-Friday
Location: Carson
Pay rate: $32
