Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Fuel Hauler to join our team at Potts Logistics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting fuel to various locations, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport fuel to assigned locations according to route schedules.
Inspect and maintain fuel hauling equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Comply with all DOT regulations, state laws, and company policies.
Verify fuel delivery receipts and maintain accurate records of shipments.
Complete routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Assist in loading and unloading fuel when required.
Adhere to all safety protocols and hazard procedures while handling hazardous materials.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications:
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with Hazmat endorsement required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fuel hauling or a related field.
Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to fuel transportation.
Ability to operate large trucks and fuel hauling equipment.
Excellent driving record and a commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
