DELIVERY DRIVER / WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEE NEEDED
Our company is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our company.
The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good organizational and communication skills with experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Truck Driver/Warehouse Employee Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull orders; check orders for accuracy; pack boxes; place orders in delivery area.
Complete shipments by processing and loading orders and ensuring cargo is secured.
Follow routes to meet delivery schedules.
Take inventory of orders being delivered.
Complete deliveries by driving box truck or van to and from customers; Unload order and obtain signatures from customer confirming accuracy of delivery.
Provide quality service by following organization standards.
Follow all state and national large driving safety regulations and standards
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, floors, pallet area, workstations, and restroom neat and clean.
Promote a clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid and current Class C Driver’s License
10-15 years professional driving experience with a box truck, van or related work experience
Must have a clean driving record with no recent moving violations (applicants are requested to bring a copy of their driving record from the DMV during your interview)
Physically fit and able lift 55 lbs. or more comfortably
Pallet jack and forklift experience required
Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and fluent in English
Able to work at weekends, extended hours and holidays as needed
Hours: M-F 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
