I’m looking for a skilled woodworker or craftsman to help with cutting plywood panels for my custom van conversion business.
This is not a full-time job — I build several vans per year, and about every 2–3 months I need someone to handle a large round of cuts based on detailed measurements I’ll provide. It usually works out to 7–14 days of work per project.
Ideal Fit:
You have your own workshop or space with the right tools — a table saw setup is preferred. I have a track saw you could use, but ideally you’d have one too.
You’re confident cutting 3/4” birch ply and similar with clean, accurate results.
You understand the importance of precision and take pride in quality craftsmanship.
You’re organized, responsive, and easy to communicate with.
What I Need:
I’ll provide detailed cut sheets and measurements for the project.
You cut all panels to spec and label them clearly.
Ideally, you’re in or near Los Angeles for easier logistics.
Pay:
I’m open to hearing your rate — whether it’s hourly or per project, let me know what you charge and how you prefer to work. I’m not sure what the going rate is for this type of gig, so I’d appreciate transparency and any guidance.

This is perfect for someone who enjoys side projects or freelance work and has the tools and space ready to go. I’m easy to work with and clear on what I need. Looking forward to finding the right person to team up with for ongoing projects.
