American Ironworks Mfg Inc has been in the steel fabrication and installation business for almost 30 years. We fabricate and install beams, columns, stairs and miscellaneous steel for both commercial and residential.
Our Company is looking for Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Welders. Experienced in Stairs, Beams, Columns, Gates, Fences and Rails.
As a Welder/Fabricator at American Ironworks Mfg Inc., you’ll use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders and use manual/semi-automatic/automatic welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials. The Welder also inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and performs minor maintenance to equipment.
Welders are required to do the following;
Perform flat and horizontal welder
Perform welds on subassemblies or parts (including bosses)
Observe all standard safety practices
Maintain and complete all required records
Follow all safety rules and practices
May be involved in safety meetings or initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Welders with little experience or currently studying to be a Welder, we are willing to train.
We are also looking for Shop and Field Helpers.
Pls bring your welding helmet and be prepared for a welding test
