Job Description/Requirements:
Carpenter with minimum 5 years' experience in additions, new buildings and remodeling required.
Must be detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, dedicated, well presented and extremely hardworking.
This employee must excel in multi-tasking.
Tasks include:
Demolition through forming footings/foundation, framing,
Rough carpentry, framing, finish carpentry, drywall, painting and all aspects of remodeling, and maintenance. This person must have the initiative to excel and direct other carpenters and laborers offer support and hands-on skills to multiple project.
They must at times be able to micro manage the jobsite.
Responsible for checking in on other tradesman.
Knowledge of making sure what's needed for tomorrow/week is ordered or made known in a timely matter from materials to tools.
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record AND reliable transportation.
Must have basic personal tools including: nail bags, Levels, hand tools, cordless drills, saws etc.
Skills:
Framing to include all around knowledge of home remodeling. Ability to have basic understanding of blue prints.
Door and window installation and repairs
Crown molding, chair rails, wainscoting, base molding, stairs, railings, shelving, and trim
Drywall repair and installation
Fencing, gutters, siding, decks, ramps and power washing
ADU'S/ Additions, kitchens, baths, family rooms, bedrooms.
