MDSS provides the services of General Contracting, Design-Build Engineering, Installation of Hygienic Process and Industrial Equipment and Piping systems. We are a team-oriented company committed to problem solving and project planning to meet our customers’ objectives and schedules.
About the Role:
MDSS is offering a position to provide QA Documentation and CAD, to join our team based in Downey, CA.
This position will work with our team members and customers to provide and manage drawings, documentation, and turn-over packages. Assembled packages will meet the requirements of our customers and design teams. This will include the collection of information, review and correction of documentation and drawings, as well as creation of necessary forms and drawings.
Manage assigned projects, and job tasks. Build skills and experience within our specialty piping business.
Work alongside our project managers and engineers, to provide customer solutions.
Assure quality standards are maintained and assure customer requirements are completed properly.
Salary:
Base Range: $65,000 – $95,000 annually, plus incentive programs based on performance.

What we expect:
Learn our Specialties in serving the Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage Industries.
Manage and develop documentation packages for our installation projects, supported by project team and field crews.
Create and develop drawings for our customers and project teams.
Review and correct drawings, P&ID’s, ISO’s.
Cooperate with other managers to learn our specialty specifics.
Regular work week of 7am to 3:30pm, with occasional overtime as needed to complete assigned work or project deadlines.
Take ownership of your projects, take pride in your work.
You have Experience in: (preferred)
Autodesk and SolidWorks products.
Microsoft Office Suite.
BIM and modeling skills.
Process piping systems, specifically sanitary tubing a plus.
Weld map generation.
Experience in performing process piping or related jobs and projects.
Ability to read plans, drawings and P&ID’s. Isometric skills.
Knowledge of schedules, documentation, validation.
