Position Overview: As a Pavement Striping Crew Member with 2-3 years of experience, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that values your potential. Salary: $1,250 per week depending on level of experience, with potential for profit sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
Be proficient in operating striping machines to paint lines and stencil.
Make sure projects stay on track with timelines and budgets.
Handle various tasks like loading/unloading materials, traffic control, and equipment maintenance.
Learn and master new tasks as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
Prioritize safety at all times.
Get to and from work sites efficiently and on-time.
Assist and execute layout design, striping, and sign installations.
Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized.
Provide regular updates on project status to team leaders and clients.
Inspect sites before, during, and after completion to ensure satisfaction.
Be available for any urgent calls from the team, even after hours or on weekends.
Troubleshoot issues for better performance.
Perform all duties with quality and integrity.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Pavement Marking experience.
Pass Background Check.
Good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.
Ability to occasional overnight travel for projects.
Available for phone calls after hours and weekends when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Veteran preferred.
2-3 years of project experience in asphalt repairs, sealcoating, or applicable construction industries.
Proficiency in using striping machines (electric) and auto layout.
Experience driving a box truck, trailer and reading striping blueprints for layout.
Work Conditions:
Work is outside in variable weather conditions.
