Our dedicated project teams work hand in hand with our company’s principal to deliver world-class projects for our clients and design partners. We are currently looking to add a Project Superintendent to one of our project teams.
Job Description:
Our project teams consist of two fulltime personnel: a Project Manager and a Project Superintendent. The Superintendent works in tandem with the Project Manager.
The Project Superintendent is responsible for collaborating with the Project Manager in identifying the critical path and sequencing the work so that the schedule is maintained.
The Project Superintendent is responsible for being the project expert. He or she needs to know the plans, specifications, applicable codes, and regulations better than anyone on the project.
The Project Superintendent is responsible for managing the tradesmen and personnel onsite and ensuring that the work is executed in accordance with the plans and as efficiently as possible.
The Project Superintendent is responsible for micromanaging the quality of the work and ensuring it exceeds the expectations of the clients, architects, and designers.
The Project Superintendent is responsible for managing the safety of all onsite personnel and conducting weekly toolbox talks with the trades.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have 7 plus years of applicable industry experience, building custom high-end homes.
The ideal candidate will have at minimum a high school diploma. College experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be available for a minimum of a three-year commitment and see the project through to completion.
The ideal candidate will be a great representative of Rattigan Construction, present well, and conduct his or herself in a professional manner.
