We are looking to hire a lube technician capable of overseeing the maintenance of a medium-size fleet of vehicles and heavy machinery including general maintenance, diagnostics and service, tire maintenance.

Roles and responsibilities
- Draining the oil from a vehicles/machinery and replacing it to manufacturer specifications
- Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and D.E.F.
- Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
- Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed
- Installing new parts, such as air filters, oil filters, and batteries
- Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing
- Diagnosing existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics to address the vehicles’ issues
- Creating detailed service reports
Skills and qualifications
- An aptitude for mechanical diagnosis and repair
- Demonstrated experience with servicing vehicles/machinery
- A valid driver's license and the ability to work legally in the US
- Passing a drug screening and criminal background check
- Time management and organizational skills as well as hand-eye coordination
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- The ability to read and follow complex directions in manuals as well as relay information in reports
- The physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position of Lube Technician, such as bending and reaching, - standing for long periods of time and lifting over 60 pounds
Experience requirements
- 1+ years shop experience or equivalent in professional training
Optional experience
- Power lift (e.g. forklift, scissor lift) certification
- Large equipment (e.g. wheel loader, excavator) certification
- Welding
