Busy Contractor seeks a highly skilled Low Voltage and Fire Alarm Installation Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing installations and inspections on fire alarm system devices AND low voltage systems in a professional and timely manner.
About the Role:
Install and inspect fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Install and inspect low voltage systems in accordance with industry standards.
Maintain high levels of quality and productivity while completing installations
Learn and comply with applicable fire protection codes and obtain necessary state licensing.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
Hold applicable licensing and certification required by National, State, and Local codes.
Able to learn and apply relevant installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
Demonstrate strong work ethic and professional appearance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
At least 2+ years' experience in the fire protection industry
At least 2+ years' experience installing low voltage
Familiarity with fire alarm systems or electrical trade experience.
NICET certification a plus
