DEN Urban Dog Retreat is a full scale dog care company that provides pack hikes, training, grooming and wellness care. We are looking for a Professional Dog Groomer with at least 3 years of experience. Ideal person needs to be reliable and dependent, but also gentle, loving and passionate about dog grooming, growing the book of business and desires to be an integral part of a small team.The DEN Dog Groomer is a very important member in our canine guest’s wellness team. Clients should know our Groomers by name and look forward to talking with them to learn more about the general health and care of their pets. Discovering potential problems that may occur early such as ear infections, skin issues, or tooth decay.Core Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Service Communicate with the client about their wants and if matches with the pet’s needs Create a comfortable, safe, and stress-free environment for the pet Produce a pet service that results in quality over quantity Suggest retail items to improve/enhance quality of pet’s life/wellness Following safety/emergency protocols as directed Employee is responsible greeting all guests, answering phones and booking appointments if Operations Manager or Owners are not present Utilizing the DEN apps effectively for checking clients in/out of service MaintenanceEnsure grooming salon is clean, sanitary, and presentable at all times following daily/weekly maintenance scheduleIn general, all team members at DEN will strive to create an environment where our clients are not only safe and healthy, but emotionally happy and fulfilled.Additional ResponsibilitiesAll DEN employees must enjoy working with animals in addition to interacting with clients and have a general understanding of holistic services and lifestyle.With the size of our company, our involvement with the community and our pursuit of growth there will be multiple times that we need to delegate out responsibility of special tasks.
