An LA-based vegetable garden design company is looking for part-time Maintenance Team members to
help as we grow our business.
About us: We offer classes, consulting and food garden design. We offer
regular vegetable garden maintenance services to our clients, too. We have a website, blog, YouTube
channel, and online store. We often lecture at trade shows, local business and studios. We need help to
get it all done!
Duties include:
Tending client organic vegetable gardens with care and integrity
Loading/unloading supplies including bags of soil, organic amendments, plants, trellises, cages, etc.
Purchasing supplies for client gardens
Possible above-ground drip irrigation repair / installations
Assisting Gardenerd HQ with installations, project materials, etc.
Email/phone/text communication with clients to schedule visits and follow up on client requests or
questions.
Keeping detailed records of your time with clients and when buying materials for clients.
We currently seek someone who lives in close proximity to our client area for the following position:
Woodland Hills / Agoura Hills / Calabasas
Requirements:
IMPORTANT: Do not apply if you have beginner level or no knowledge of organic vegetable gardening.
Min. 5 years’ experience in organic vegetable gardening
Local to geographic area indicated above
A working, reliable car
A working, reliable computer with printer
A working cell phone
Good to excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Google Drive/Doc/Sheets
Knowledge of Dropbox
Experience teaching organic vegetable gardening a plus
Knowledge / education in landscaping or construction a plus
Able to lift and carry 40 lb bags of soil up stairs
