Alpha Structural, Inc. is a specialty engineering and construction firm with three Contractor Licenses for General Engineering (A), Concrete (C-8), and General Building Construction (B), and Civil and Structural Engineering licenses. Our firm provides in-house Structural, Civil Engineering, Drafting, Plan Development, and Permit Expediting to secure approval for our projects. Alpha Structural, Inc. has a full complement of heavily experienced Project Managers and Project Supervisors, thirty (30) heavily experienced in-house construction crews, and a wide variety of specialty material suppliers and sub-contractors to complete any project we are tasked with.
Alpha Structural also provides evaluation and costing services for real estate, insurance, and pre-litigation.
Job Description:
Alpha Structural, Inc.’s real estate division is rapidly expanding and is in high demand for our damage assessment and estimating service for real estate transactions. This position requires competent engineering and construction specialists who have a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on construction and/or field engineering experience in the structural or geotechnical fields or trades. SE, CE, GE, EG, and EIT certification, Civil Engineering degree, Journeyman or Specialty Contractor credentials are desired. You will receive an in-house apprenticeship in our evaluation and construction means and methods and estimating techniques.
Once trained in our means and methods, you will be provided with eight to twelve company-generated paid appointments weekly for both residential and commercial property owners or realtors that are in escrow. These clients are seeking damage assessments and estimates of structural, foundation, drainage or landslide issues that are impacting their property. This isn’t a general home or building inspection. This is specifically an on-site visit to physically assess foundation, structural, and drainage and soil conditions that you find. You will drive to each appointment scheduled for you multiple days each week to meet with clients, visually observe the property for any structural or soil-related deficiencies that require correction. You will provide the client with a written summary detailing what you found, what repairs are recommended and a rough or general cost estimate for repairs and a projected duration of how long repairs will take.

Engineering and/or construction credentials/experience are a requirement.
MUST BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO FULLY INSPECT SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS AND SLOPES OR CHALLENGING TERRAIN. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE CRAWLING UNDER BUILDINGS, CRAWLING IN TIGHT CRAWLSPACES AND TIGHT ACCESS AREAS, BASEMENT ACCESS, CLIMBING STAIRS AND LADDERS, WALKING UP AND DOWN HILLSIDE AREAS AND/OR SLOPES.
Must own your own vehicle and have a valid driver's license.
Compensation/ Benefits:
Fee/Commission - $100,000 - $150,000+ Annually
