SONPOWER Energy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial electrical service. This role requires excellent time management skills and proficiency in electrical code, customer service and scheduling. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with industry standards.
Duties
-Meet with customers (residential and commercial) to answer questions and provide solutions and pricing.
-Collaborate with industry partners and field techs on training for home energy systems such as GE Home Energy, Tesla Power Walls, etc
-Work with scheduling team to ensure seamless dispatch of techs to jobs.
-Learn and utilize Service Titan, Excel and partner portal sites.
-Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards throughout all operations.
-Manage the procurement of materials and resources necessary for project completion.
-Foster communication between various departments to streamline operations.
-Conduct regular assessments of operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
-Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals.
Requirements
-Proven experience in operations management for a service related company.
-Strong background in electrical field including minimum of 10 years field experience
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Strong project coordination skills, capable of managing multiple projects/customers simultaneously.
-Understanding of NEC regulations is highly desirable.
-Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration across teams.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
