POSITION: Warehouse Associate/Driver
We are a family owned, motion picture equipment rental house looking for a full -time
warehouse associate/driver to join our team in Glendale, CA. We pride ourselves in customer service and attention to detail.
DETAILS:
Full time position-
Mon.- Fri. 8:45 A.M.-5:30 P.M. AND 9:00 A.M.- 12:30 P.M. once or twice a month on Saturday.
Full benefits including health insurance, paid time off, sick pay and 401k.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. with a lot of physical lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning while being on your feet through the entire day
Must be a team player and get along well with others
Must be a self-starter who is motivated, driven, and willing to accomplish daily tasks required
Must have good time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to work overtime when necessary and Saturdays when scheduled
Mandatory California Driver’s license is required with an excellent driving record. We participate in the DMV’s Drivers Pull program, which notifies us of any changes to a person’s driving record.
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Experience in the Motion Equipment Industry or in construction would be helpful and useful.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The warehouse staff/driver is responsible to load and unload equipment for deliveries, pickup, and returns from clients
Accurately pull and prepare orders in an organized manner
Check and test all equipment to ensure proper functioning
Work with clients in the check-out and check-in process of picking up and returning equipment
Manage and handle clients requests and order changes with the goal to meet the client’s needs
Properly assess and complete repairs to equipment throughout the pickup and return process
Maintain, organize, and clean warehouse, driveway, yard, and common areas
Deliver or pick-up equipment or supplies to scheduled drop off and pick up locations
Accurately and thoroughly complete all paperwork
Immediately report any issues/problems with vehicles
Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
HELPFUL WITH :
Rental house experience
Knowledge of Profoto and lighting gear
Some experience with grip such as an arsenal of c-stands, rollers, cardellinis, and more
Ability to differentiate continuous light systems such as tungsten, HMI and LED
