Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Editor / Assistant Editor to join our team for several upcoming projects. As an Assistant Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our editing team throughout the duration of these projects. This is a temporary position lasting 3 to 4 months, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and organize projects for editors, ensuring all assets are readily available and properly labeled.

- Manage shared folders and file structures to facilitate efficient collaboration among team members.

- Execute all revisions and exports according to project specifications and deadlines.

- Handle compressions and file conversions as necessary for various delivery platforms.

- Assist in posting client reviews and gathering feedback throughout the editing process.

- Incorporate legal supers and other required elements into final deliverables as needed.

- Ensure proper archiving of projects upon completion, maintaining organized records for future reference.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Editor or Assistant Editor in a professional setting.

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with editors, producers, and other team members.

- Knowledge of best practices for video compression, file formats, and delivery methods.

- Familiarity with client feedback processes and the ability to implement revisions accurately and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment or with tight deadlines.

- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects techniques.

- Familiarity with project management and archiving protocols.
