Join Our Team as a Mac-Based System Admin & Tech!

A small yet mighty Los Angeles based IT Managed Service Provider seeks part time contract-to-hire Mac System Admin to support the needs of a client. This position is hybrid-remote and has the potential to evolve into a full time position, the majority of tasks can be completed remotely working from home but once or twice per week on-site visits to the client office for some in-person tasks will be needed. The ideal candidate will be personable and able to communicate well with non-technical clients as well as adaptable to changing needs. This role will be working directly with the MSP owner who has a down to earth approach and a team player mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide IT help desk and technical support for 40 users running a fleet of Mabooks and Mac desktops in a creative business environment for 2-3 days per week.

- Troubleshoot and assist users remotely with Mac requests using Teamviewer.

- Set up and onboard new employees & computers within 2-3 days of request.

- Visit client's office location weekly or bi-weekly depending on weekly requests.

- Manage users in cloud platforms like Google Workspace & Slack.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years experience with Apple macOS & iOS devices. Windows experience is a plus.

- 1+ year experience in a technical, retail or customer service position professionally assisting customers in some capacity.

- Experience with business apps like Google Docs, Chrome, Microsoft Office, Apple Mail and Outlook.

- Basic familiarity with creative apps like Adobe, Final Cut & Davinci Resolve to assist with basic issues. No editing or creative skills required.

- Understanding of standard TCP/IP networking, DNS & DHCP protocols &

- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with attention to detail & a willingness to learn.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
