Objective

This full-time position is responsible for providing technical support for desktops, laptops, applications, and related technologies. Support tasks include receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user requests. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for specifying, installing, and testing computer systems and peripherals in accordance with established standards and guidelines. This role requires collaboration with the IT Infrastructure team, and various departments/business units to support the company's business strategy.

Responsibilities

Technical Support: Provide first-line technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of desktops, laptops, and peripherals in the IT inventory system.

Ticketing & Resolution: Manage assigned tickets within Jira Service, ensure timely and efficient resolution.

Deployment & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software according to established standards. Conduct regular maintenance of equipment in conference rooms.

Vendor & Internal Collaboration: Work with vendor support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team on initiatives and project implementations. Partner with other departments to support company-wide initiatives.

Network & Physical Environment: Maintain the cleanliness of storage rooms and telecom rooms.

Qualifications

1) A passion for customer service: enjoy going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

2) Problem-solving prowess: at least 2 years of experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

3) Communication champion: excel at clear and concise written and verbal communication (English fluency is a must, Mandarin fluency is a plus)

4) Tech-savvy with a foundation: bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent experience.

5) Software smarts: basic knowledge of MS Office 365 and Azure Active Directory is a plus.

6) Network know-how: familiar with network configurations and management.

7) Cable control: understand cable management and flow, including terminations is beneficial.

8) Physical demands: lifting equipment up to 25 lbs.

9) Travel requirement: up to 10% travel within different locations in CA.
