Senior Software Developer Linux/Windows Migration – San Bernardino
Sierra Cybernetics is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to work for us, supporting our San Bernardino County government client.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in a project to transition a suite of web-based applications from a Linux environment to a Windows IIS environment.
The position is expected to be a 12 month position.
Open to US citizens, green card holders, H1-B visa holders.
This will be full-time on-site in San Bernardino with possibility of a hybrid schedule after two months.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in system analysis, code review, application architecture, systems design and development, database design, and applications programming.
Contribute to the migration of web applications in a Linux environment to a Windows IIS environment.
Work with a PHP front end, MS SQL server database, and Linux Apache Web server backend.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent.
7 to 10 years of developer experience, with at least 5 years as a senior developer.
Strong skills in PHP, Linux, Apache, Microsoft’s development products (PHP for IIS, C#, SQL Server, etc.), MS Web APIs, HTML, JavaScript and GIT.
