Sales Representative
We are seeking a bilingual English & Spanish-speaking individual who is knowledgeable about the hair care and beauty industry, with a strong commitment to customer service. The ideal candidate should have outside sales experience, preferably in the hair care or beauty industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, along with comfort in public speaking and team collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The candidate must work well in a team, closely collaborating with other team members, including manufacturer representatives. Reliable transportation and a clear driver's record are required for the territory, including San Fernando Valley areas.
Responsibilities include presenting state-of-the-art professional products and promotions, providing product knowledge, and delivering technical and business education. The role involves developing and executing strategies to help clients grow their business, acting as a business partner and resource to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Extensive travel by car in the assigned area is necessary, with 70-80% of the work week dedicated to client visits. The schedule typically runs from Monday through Friday, with occasional mandatory weekends for sales events, tradeshows, education, and meetings. Physical requirements include lifting boxes, promotional materials, and products up to 25 pounds, along with extensive walking and standing during barbershop/salon visits.
