MULTIPLE JOB OPENINGS
GSSi, Inc., a 4th generation family owned security company headquartered in Wilmington CA is seeking full-time and part-time security officers to support homeless outreach operations and outreach staff at locations in Long Beach. This is for a long term project that is projected to start in the next few weeks.
Basic Duties:
1. Maintain presence/observation/surveillance of key areas
2. Complete daily report of activity and observations
3. Avoid verbal/physical confrontations
4. Customer Service/Public relations
5. Observe and Report
6. Support outreach staff as needed
7. Verbally de-escalate situations as needed
8. Other duties as assigned
Pay Rate $17.25 per hour
Schedule: Varies by post, typically day, swing, grave
Minimum Requirements:
1. Valid BSIS guard card
2. Ability to work weekends, holidays, OT
3. Reliable transportation to and from the job site
4. Ability to walk, stand, sit for extended periods
5. Good customer service skills
6. Good written/verbal communication skills
