MUST HAVE A VALID CALIFORNIA GUARD CARD
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and customers. It is essential that you ensure compliance with security procedures, including thorough checks of IDs and bags to prevent the introduction of outside alcohol or weapons onto the premises.
Beyond ensuring security protocols are followed, we highly value individuals who can create a welcoming atmosphere through friendly interactions and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring patrons entering the bar are of the age 21+ and have valid government IDs
Conduct thorough checks of IDs and bags to prevent the introduction of outside alcohol or weapons
Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises
Provide excellent customer service to all individuals entering the premises
Greet visitors and clients with a friendly and professional demeanor
Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
Monitor and control access at building entrances and parking lot
Skills and Qualifications:
MUST HAVE A VALID CALIFORNIA GUARD CARD
Proven experience as a security officer or guard preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively
Strong attention to detail
Must be reliable and punctual
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications are a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, and lift arms above shoulders
Tentative schedule:
Monday-Saturday from 6pm-2am
