N.E.W. Academy Charter Schools are Transitional K / K-5 independent Charter Schools. One

Responsibilities:
Position is located at NEW Academy of Science & Arts in Downtown Los Angeles.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property.
Helps staff feel safer when walking between different buildings.
Monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
Proactively watching for suspicious behavior and contacting the proper authorities
when an incident occurs.
Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
After business hours, checking doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is
secure.
Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
Requirements:
Available to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Must be interested in the team and collaborate environment.
Passing criminal background check via Fingerprinting/livescan from the
Department of Justice
Proof and clearance of TB test (current within 60 days)
Rate: $20.00 – 25.00, depending on experience.
