Position Overview:
We are currently hiring Warehouse and Shipping Workers to support our daily operations. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of products and materials.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse space to ensure efficient workflow and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet shipping deadlines.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for the position).
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
