High-End Specialty Retailer Seeks Showroom Assistant:
TableArt is a high-end specialty retailer located in the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
TableArt seeks a full-time showroom assistant. TableArt's focus is high-end home accessories, focusing on home dining and entertaining (tabletop); luxury bed linens and bath linens; and bathroom accessories.
Showroom Assistant responsibilities include:
Working closely and assisting members of the TableArt sales team.
Assisting customers.
Processing transactions at point of sale.
Generating customer orders and purchases orders; and monitoring status of these orders.
Answering phones and responding to emails.
Daily maintenance of showroom.
Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, required. Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
Prior retail or showroom experience, particularly with luxury goods, is desired. We are willing to consider bright, motivated individuals with interior design backgrounds.
Successful candidate must be dedicated, a quick learner, responsible, professional and an outstanding multi-tasker; must also have excellent computer, customer service and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are extremely important.
Generous hourly compensation. Compensation will also include: employer-paid health care benefits, including vision and dental after a waiting period; and employer-sponsored 401(k) plan after a waiting period
