We’re a neighborhood liquor store/bodega specializing in all things good: Natural wine, craft beer, spirits, and gourmet snacks. We seek fellow bon vivants that value hospitality, a willingness to learn, and are self-motivated. Our work environment is relaxed and friendly but definitely qualifies as an honest day’s work and requires someone who is comfortable both conversing with customers about the best cocktail bar in town and hauling cases of beer.
Responsibilities
-Fostering a positive and friendly environment for customers
-Managing online orders
-Maintaining the appearance of the store
-Stocking and merchandising
-Cashiering
-Opening and closing the store
-Checking in deliveries
-Ordering
-Keeping an up to date knowledge of current products and trends
Skills & qualities
-A genuine passion for wine, food, beer, and spirits
-Detail oriented and comfortable with data entry
-A working knowledge of Google Workspace and (not necessary but desirable) comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite
-Desire to continue learning
-Open availability
-Able to take feedback in stride and a willingness to collaborate
-Familiar with current social media trends
-Experience working in the food and bev industry is a big plus!
Shifts vary between days and evenings. You should be able to work by yourself regularly. Schedule flexibility is favorable, but with notice we can be flexible as well.
