Crown City Motors is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. We’re looking for a professional with strong accounting skills and a knack for keeping our office operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Perform general ledger (GL) entries, and reconciliations, and maintain financial records with precision.
Oversee collections efforts, including attending small claims to collect on bad debt.
Process vehicle sales documentation, titles, and registrations in compliance with state regulations( I will train).
Prepare financial reports, including profit/loss statements, for ownership review.
Handle payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Maintain office supplies, vendor relationships, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
Other duties as needed to keep the business office efficient and organized.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably in an automotive or dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, specifically with general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Proficiency in AP/AR processes and collections management.
Familiarity with dealership management software (e.g., Dealertrack, Auto/Mate, or similar) is a plus.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a dynamic setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, customers, and vendors.
Knowledge of used car sales processes, financing, and DMV paperwork is highly desirable.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of office management and accounting experience.
