An international English language school in Santa Monica is seeking a Student Experience Coordinator. We are seeking a candidate who is friendly and enjoys working in an international school environment. The position is full time with an 8:00-4:00 schedule (M-F).
Duties include, but are not limited to: answering phone calls and emails, copying and scanning documents, collecting documents from teachers, running orientation and new student entry exams, filing, processing paperwork, communicating with students both in person and via email, managing file and database systems, international student advising, collecting & keeping track of money, cross- team communication, processing applications, collecting payments, first point of contact for students in regards to admissions and housing questions, handle inquiries from prospective students in-person, performing housing inspection, and various projects assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Must have experience working in an office environment
Ability to multitask and work well independently as well as within a team
Detail-oriented
Experience in project planning and execution
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Google Suite and Excel is highly preferred
Knowledge of Trello or other project management software is a plus, but not a must
Previous study abroad experience is highly preferred
Previous experience working with international students in a school environment is preferred, but not required
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
