Seeking an experienced Construction Administrative Assistant to coordinate subcontractors, process invoices, maintain the database, collect expense data, request estimates, and draft proposals.
This position entails planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from conception to production, in strict compliance with schedule, specification, and budget.
Duties also include the following but are not limited to:
Set up new job folders
Print plans
Request Bids/ Track Projects
Compare and negotiate the best prices
Pricing and ordering of materials
Costing projects
Assist with the running of projects
Building subcontractor and vendor relations
Coordinate schedules with field personnel
Calendar planning and invites to the internal team
Monitors the progress of the construction project to make sure the project is staying on schedule
Request/track RFIs
Answer questions that may arise
Misc. assigned task

Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent negotiation skills, and attention to detail; excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, in-depth knowledge of construction policies and principles, good leadership skills, and good time management skills.
