Program and Role Summary:

The primary focus of the Maintenance Technician,is to maintain the grounds, facility, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful, viable, maintenance program is maintained at all times.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.

Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, painting, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.

Complete work orders request on WorxHub efficiently in accordance with department’s policy and procedure.

Conduct walk-through inspections of buildings.

Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service.

Assist in servicing both Stand-by Diesel Engine Generators.

Assist in conducting Daily Safety Inspections of all WFS Fleet vehicles.

Assist in taking vehicles to Auto Service shop in case needed.

Assist in perform and conduct Maintenance Routine Inspections of the entire campus.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, masonry, HVAC, and general maintenance work required.

Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write and generate routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to utilize common sense understanding to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.

Basic computer skills, Word, and Excel
