This is a NO PAY position in exchange for free housing (One private room)

This opportunity is for someone to work part time at our Transitional House and also have your own free room and board that includes a private room.

We are looking to hire an amazing on-site House Manager.

Our company specializes in assisting women with transitional housing that delivers temporary shared room housing, with enhanced services to help people achieve permanent housing and overcome barriers.

House manager at a transitional housing program, your responsibilities may include a wide range of duties aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and providing support to residents in their transition to permanent housing.

Here is a list of the job duties:

-Develop individualized service plans for each resident. - Enter case notes of residents' progress and collect documentation.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including chores, room inspections, house meetings and hosting events and updating maintenance and supplies.

- Handle crisis situations that may arise among residents, such as conflict resolutions or emergencies.

- Develop partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and service providers to support residents.

- Organize community events, workshops, or activities for residents.

- Marketing and social media post

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.

- Driver's License (Required)

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Knowledge of organization skills, bookkeeping, marketing on social media, creating flyers and fundraising experience is a plus. Work Shift- Part-time 30 hours a week

Must Have's:

Positive, effective, and professional (oral and written) communications and interactions with a wide range of individuals.

Proven ability to interact, problem-solve and mediate in a positive and constructive manner.

Ability to successfully prioritize and execute multiple tasks and/or projects

Flexibility, such as regarding work setting and assistance with emergency situations as needed.

Ability to meet Form I-9 requirements, with appropriate supporting documentation of the right to lawfully work in the U.S.

Private Room: $0 rent and utilities charges

Security Deposit $500

Experience:

Administrative: 3 years (Required)

Personal Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)

Fundraising: 1 year (Required)

Marketing: 1 year (Required)
