Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to help us ensure that our programs for adults with developmental disabilities are always providing the highest quality of care. You will conduct site visits, perform regular check-ins, and help maintain our compliance with state and agency standards. If you are empathetic, proactive, and care deeply about service quality, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

Visit group sites (both announced and unannounced) in the San Fernando Valley, West Los Angeles, and Orange County to review program quality and compliance

Perform weekly check-ins with staff to address quality assurance needs

Review and audit case notes, training records, and other documents for compliance

Provide helpful feedback and support to staff based on your observations

Help develop and maintain quality assurance procedures and protocols

Participate in projects that focus on improving the quality of services

Keep organized records of all quality assurance activities and findings

Communicate findings and suggest improvements to program directors

Collaborate closely with Executive and Program Directors to ensure continuous improvement

Group coverage as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required

At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel frequently between locations

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during site visits

Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Office
