Join Our Foster Family at Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue!
Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue, a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, is dedicated to saving dogs from shelters and giving them a new chance at life! We urgently need loving fosters to provide temporary homes for these rescued dogs while we find their "furever" homes.
Why Foster with Us?
Fostering is an incredibly rewarding experience. You help rehabilitate dogs that were left to die at shelters, giving them a second chance to be adopted. Our fosters are true heroes, making a significant impact on the lives of these animals.
What We Provide:
- All necessary supplies: a bed, food, treats, toys, and vet care
- Support and guidance throughout the fostering process
What We Need from You:
- Must be 21+ (if under 21, parental approval is required)
- Foster until the dog is adopted or for at least 2-4 weeks. If you can only commit to a few days in emergencies, please still reach out!
- Reliable transportation to bring dogs to adoption events in West Hollywood every other Saturday and to vet appointments as needed
- Experience with dogs and comfort with large breeds (most of our pups weigh 50-90 pounds)
- No children under 10, cats, or small dogs in the home (large dogs are okay)
- Ability to start immediately
- Approval from all landlords/managers/spouses
