Now Hiring: Tool Crib Attendant! Join our aerospace manufacturing team! Candidates must have at least basic tool crib, inventory control, or manufacturing experience, but we strongly prefer those with more advanced knowledge in a similar role.What You'll Do Maintain an organized and efficient tool crib, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and accounted for.Review shop lists, MRP, and work orders to fulfill material, supply, and equipment requests.Issue and track tools checked in and out by machinists and other personnel.Clean, inspect, and sharpen tools as necessary.Assist machinists with tool-related questions and troubleshooting.Prepare correct tooling kits by coordinating with programming and setup teams.Follow internal processes, including MRP, inventory management, and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.Make adjustments or minor repairs to tools and equipment as needed.Uphold company quality and safety standards. At least basic experience in a tool crib, inventory control, or manufacturing environment.Understanding of the machining process and ability to communicate with programming/setup teams.Knowledge of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches.Ability to interpret blueprints (GD&T) and technical drawings.Intermediate shop math skills and mechanical aptitude.Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Proficiency in MRP systems, email, and basic computer skills.Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine dexterity for handling small parts.Valid driver's license and good driving record (company vehicle use required).Strong attention to detail and passion for inventory management.Must be a team player. Full-time Shifts: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm or 6:00am-3:30pm (every other Friday off)Pay Range: $18.50-$26.00 per hour BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life insuranceDisability, vacation, sick pay401kPhysical Demands & Work Environment: Work is performed in an open warehouse environment with exposure to temperature variations, noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals.Frequent sitting, bending, kneeling, walking, repetitive motion, and fine dexterity.Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 20 lbs (occasionally 21-50 lbs).Frequent driving of company vehicles and occasional forklift operation.Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and vision (with or without corrective assistance) for detailed tasks.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with tool crib or inventory experience who wants to grow their career in a manufacturing environment.ITAR Requirement: This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
