Job Type: Contract-to-Hire / Direct Hire

Overview: California Temp Services (CTS) is partnering with a premier aerospace manufacturing client to fill critical Quality Inspector and Quality Manager roles. These positions are ideal for experienced quality assurance professionals with a background in aerospace, machining, and an in-depth understanding of ITAR & AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance: Ensure all production processes and products adhere to ITAR & AS9100 Quality System Standards, as well as industry and client-specific requirements, including precise compliance with drawings, purchase orders, and customer expectations.

Process Improvement & Quality Management: Leverage your expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS) to drive continuous improvement and implement control techniques across processes.

Project and Safety Management: Oversee and support engineering management and project teams in applying best practices, enhancing safety standards, and optimizing workflows.

Blueprint & GD&T Interpretation: Apply advanced skills in blueprint reading and interpreting General Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) standards to support accurate, efficient production.

Inspection & Measurement: Perform inspections using standard equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges), ensuring all systems and parts meet precise specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

In-depth experience with ITAR and AS9100 Quality Systems Standards.

Advanced knowledge of QMS, process improvement, and manufacturing best practices.

Strong skills in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.

Proficient with inspection equipment and dimensional verification techniques.

Experienced in engineering project management and safety management protocols.
