METAL SPINNER If you have good to great skills spinning in a production job shop we have a great position for you. If you have metal fabrication experience you may be a good trainee.
Skills desirable are spinning of aluminum, brass, copper, steel and stainless steel from .025" - .063" mostly using compound scissor rollers. ( Much of our work is under 12" and typically does not exceed 25" in diameter.) Looking for a self starter. Pay can start $16.00 to $22.00+ p/hr or more if meeting our requirements with potential for growth. Our standard hours are M, Tu, Th and Fri 7:00 to 5:30 with Wednesdays off.
We are a job shop where this is a full time position. Most work is precision ornamental parts (about 60%) the rest is in many other industries including filtration, automotive and aerospace. Quality is extremely important to us along with customer service.
We are located in the high desert in Rosamond near Edwards Air Force Base, 10 miles north of Lancaster. Pay is based on skills and can be higher than shown. Must have transportation, ability to learn quickly, reliable. lift 50 - 80 lbs, don't mind getting dirty, can measure, can count, and live in the near area.
