Large Manufacturing Company is looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic.

Pay Range: $25.00- 40.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications ( At time of temp to full time conversion, the pay rate set when hired for the temporary assignment will remain the same).

PPE Required: steel toe shoes

Shift: 1st shift – 5:00am-1:30pm (open to OT)

Summary:

Responsible for the installation, continuous operation, maintenance, and modification of all systems across the site.

This includes both corrective (unplanned/repair) and preventive (planned) maintenance of associated equipment. The technician must be capable of working independently and collaboratively, using sound judgment and initiative to resolve complex technical issues. Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential, along with the ability to handle

additional tasks as needed in a dynamic environment.

Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:

1. Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day production line issues to ensure

equipment reliability and process compliance.

2. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production

machinery and support systems to minimize downtime.

3. Manage and enhance Preventive & Predictive Maintenance programs

using CMMS and reliability best practices.

4. Maintain detailed maintenance records to identify recurring issues and

drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist in developing and updating SOPs, maintenance plans, and

improvement strategies for equipment reliability.

6. Support general facility upkeep including repairs to walls, floors, ceilings,

doors, and fixtures; perform light painting and touch-ups.

7. Inspect and service building infrastructure and equipment (e.g., filters,

dehumidifiers, air handling units, fire extinguishers).

8. Monitor and maintain performance of support systems such as air

compressors, dust collectors, and HVAC components.

9. Respond to facility and equipment repair requests promptly;

recommend upgrades or external support when needed.

10. Promote a safe, cGMP-compliant work environment by using

appropriate PPE and following safety protocols.

You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications):

1. High School education: HS Diploma or GED preferred, but not required

2. Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience. This can

be in lieu of a high school education.

3. 3 years of equipment reliability experience (preferred)

4. Experience in a building maintenance/construction environment (highly

preferred)

5. PLC Experience (Nice to have).
