We are seeking a Honing operator and Lapping operator
Responsibilities & Duties:
Set up & operate Sunnen honing machines, speed lathe machine, Sunnen tooling, Sunnen gages, air gages
Clean parts thoroughly of any lapping compound or honing oil
Be able to set up & tear down machine to prepare for the next order
Be able to work with little supervision
This job consist or sitting or standing for long period of times
Some light to heavy lifting
Be able to be a team player and work well with others
Be punctual
Minimum Qualifications
Willing to train if have some experience
Be able to read blueprints or job order product for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance, tooling
Knowledge of proper use of stones, mandrels, basic tools & gages
Ability to read and write
Perform basic math
Hours are Monday- Friday 7am - 4:30pm
Occasional overtime & weekends
