Blue Cactus Printing is a rapidly growing screen printing and embroidery company, known for delivering high-quality custom apparel with exceptional customer service. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Embroidery Technician to join our team and help us continue to produce top-notch products for our clients.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Embroidery Technician with at least 3 years of experience operating commercial embroidery machines. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality craftsmanship and can efficiently complete custom orders while maintaining our high standards.

This position requires expertise in operating Barudan embroidery machines, managing multiple orders, and ensuring each piece meets exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

-Operate multi-head Barudan embroidery machines (single-head, six-head, and 15-needle machines)

-Interpret work orders and design files to execute precise embroidery

-Prepare and hoop garments for embroidery

-Adjust machine settings based on fabric types and thread requirements

-Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot as needed

-Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and detail

-Track inventory of materials and supplies

-Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

-Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area

-Additional tasks as assigned

Experience:

-Minimum of 3 years working as an Embroidery Technician in the custom apparel industry

-Digitizing experience a plus but not required

-Proficient in operating Barudan commercial embroidery machines

-Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work

-Ability to read and interpret design files and follow instructions accurately

-Experience working with a variety of fabrics and threads

-Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines

-Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively

-Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed

-Comfortable standing for extended periods and working with hands and arms

-Vision abilities including sharp focus, depth perception, and color recognition

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
