What You'll Be Doing:
- Pre-weigh ingredients and follow formulas to manufacture hair dye.
- Perform pumping, mixing and drumming activities to create a finished product.
- Work with tanks and auxiliary equipment within our warehouse.
- Move around raw materials and keep track of inventory levels.
- Maintain all equipment and work areas in a sanitary condition and promote safe work habits and conditions, including but not limited dressing in proper PPE; cleaning and sanitizing tanks and equipment, and general housekeeping of compounding area.
- Support filling tanks changing hair dye drums.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years working in a manufacturing environment with hands-on experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Precise attention to detail and ability to multi task.
- Data entry and computer skills, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
- Ability to read, comprehend and apply common sense understanding to instructions, memos, checklists, forms and equipment instruction manuals that are written in English.
- Strong safety record.
- Familiarity with cGMP’s, safety procedures, sanitization, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 6am- 2:30pm.
