Position Overview:
Styline Door and Window Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator/Programmer/CNC Lead to join our team. This full-time, salaried position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies and play a key role in producing high-quality doors and windows.
Compensation:
Starting Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience). Salaried Position.
Benefits:
- Medical Insurance: Available after a 90-day probationary period.
- Sick Days: 5 sick days available after a 90-day probationary period.
- Holidays: 5 holiday days accrued and usable after 1 year of employment, 10 days of accrued vacation available after the 5th anniversary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
CNC Operation:
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure high-quality output.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Programming:
Create and edit CNC programs using G-code and CAD/CAM software.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
Collaborate with the engineering team to refine programs for efficiency and accuracy.
Leadership and Team Oversight:
Supervise and lead the CNC team, ensuring proper workflow and task delegation.
Train and mentor junior CNC operators.
Enforce safety standards and best practices in the CNC department.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Implement quality assurance processes to minimize defects and rework.
Maintain detailed records of production and inspection activities.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement.
Collaborate with the production team to implement lean manufacturing techniques.
Stay updated on advancements in CNC technology and industry trends.
Material and Tool Management:
Select and prepare materials and tooling required for production.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for restocking supplies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or programming issues.
