We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Lathe Programmer/ Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production operations.
Responsibilities
Program and Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines, including Fanuc and Okuma systems, to produce parts according to specifications.
Program CNC Lathe machines using appropriate software and tools to ensure precision and quality.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
· Understand, interpret and edit MasterCAM G-code programming
Proficient with Fanuc controls and learn Okuma Controls Familiarity with programming languages specific to CNC machinery is preferred.
Experience using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
