Carson area aerospace and defense manufacturer is looking for an experienced, CMM Programmer/Operator capable of
programming & determining setup methodology and recommended fixturing for Hexagon Metrology Global S Chrome CMM utilizing PC-DMIS as well as Browne & Sharpe ONE 775
-Must be experienced in interpretation of complex drawings and solid models and have a strong understanding of GD&T
-Utilize CMM and manual inspection methods to buy off 1st run parts
-Conduct CMM inspection of new or complex parts and generate required 1st article reports to support shipments and new customer qualification parts.
- Capable of interpreting customer inspection requirements from Purchase Orders
- Experience in creating and submitting customer AS9102 first articles utilizing Net-Inspect
- Also requires familiarity with traditional mechanical inspection methods for part features not requiring CMM usage to include competency in complex surface plate and /or open set ups using all standard inspection tools such as height master, sine plate, hand tools, gages, etc.
