We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in various painting techniques such as Roman Clay, Lime Wash, and Venetian Plaster.
Duties:
- Prepare painting surfaces by removing old materials/paint, cleaning surfaces, repairing all damaged areas.
- Masking off areas with perfectly straight tape lines
- Protect all surrounding surfaces with plastic & paper to ensure protection.
- Apply paint and plaster finishes by using hand brushes, trowels, rollers or sprayers.
- Keep all tools and environment clean.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work with various patching compounds, caulking, primers, paints, plaster, and lime wash
- Proven experience as a painter
- Knowledge of painting techniques
- Familiarity with painting tools and equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed
- Ability to maintain and remodel surfaces
