Extremely busy Architecture/ Interior/ Landscape firm is seeking a full time Interior Designer. We are currently looking for an experienced residential Interior Designer that is versed in traditional and contemporary interior design. We seek someone who is a team player, self-motivated, enthusiastic, can multi-task and is meticulously organized to join our team. Must have a vehicle or access to a vehicle. We are located in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles.
Candidate must be well versed in a number of skills, which include:
2-3 years of experience
Computer Drafting – Heavy emphasis on custom furniture / interior floorplans & elevations (Revit, AutoCad, Adobe Creative, Sketch up)
Familiarity with Studio IT (or similar design management program)
Knowledge of resources in the Los Angeles design area
Position responsibilities include:
Assist in Design Development
Preparation and follow through for client presentations
Assist in client meetings
Shopping for furniture, fabrics, lighting, plumbing & sourcing materials
Requesting estimates & quotes / generating proposals & purchase orders
Create and maintain Architectural Schedules
Overseeing vendors and workrooms on custom orders
Coordination with Contractors
Coordination with installations
