Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelance Ceramicist to produce ceramic pieces as per client specifications. This role requires precision, artistic flair, and a deep understanding of ceramic materials and techniques.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Ceramicist, with a portfolio of previous works.
Extensive knowledge of different clay types, glazing techniques, and ceramic processes.
Proficiency in using ceramic tools and equipment, including kilns, pottery wheels, and sculpting tools.
Strong artistic skills with an eye for design and detail.
Ability to follow complex instructions and work independently on projects.
Requirements:
Education in Fine Arts, Ceramics, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Physical ability to handle materials and equipment used in ceramics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Items to be Brought in Bisqued:
All ceramic pieces must be fully bisque
Ensure that each piece is dry and has undergone an initial bisque firing at a suitable temperature to prepare it for glazing.
Pieces should be free of dirt, grease, or residues to ensure the best possible glazing results.
