We are looking for a flexible / part-time Staging/Design Assistant/ Marketing Assistant who could assist with installations as well as organize and inventory furniture and accessories for a home staging company. There is also an opportunity to interact with potential clients. Our projects are all over the city, and our warehouse is located in Van Nuys.
Items go in and out for multiple home stagings a week and we are looking for an organized, articulate, easy-going, design oriented /"think on your feet" person who can keep track of the growing inventory and help the designers select, pack and unpack to and from staging installations. Must possess a good eye for various designs, interested and/or experienced in interiors, art or decorating. Please include RESUME/Pictures/ Portfolio if you have
Furniture assembly skills are a plus. Ideal person should be able to move/lift boxes and not have a problem helping move a chair or couch. (At this stage there is no drafting or drawing, this isn't a desk job- so be prepared physically to move a lot. If you don't know what HOME STAGING is, please look it up)
Must have a positive attitude and be able to get along with everyone. We are a great group already and looking to add someone ambitious and wonderful!
It's a great way to learn about the business and get a start in interior design we are expanding our company with great opportunities to grow! Sales / Marketing experience is a plus as well.The more hats you can wear the more work you will have.
